Winning bidders may pay for their auction items after a table closes or after the final auction table closes.

Note: Prize redemption will begin as soon as all vouchers are tallied by the bank.

• Real money (checks made payable to St. Ambrose School, cash, AmEx, Discover, VISA, and MasterCard only) is used for the silent auction. Chips cannot be used for payment.
• All sales are final. All items are sold as-is. No exchanges or refunds on purchased items are permitted.
• Items listed in the catalog are subject to change. Values assigned to all items and services are estimates and not warranteed by Saint Ambrose School and/or the Casino Night Committee.
• The buyer waives any claims or liability against either Saint Ambrose School or the donor of the property or service. Neither the school nor the donor is responsible for any personal injury or damages to property that may result from the use of property or services sold.
• Unless otherwise stated, all auctioned items must be used within a year from the date of purchase. Unless otherwise specified, dates and times are to be arranged at the mutual convenience of the donor and buyer.
• Services are NOT transferable without the express permission of the donor.
• Results, complete with the winner’s number and amount due, will be posted as soon as possible after the close of the auction.

• Payment in full is required in order for the buyer to depart with the item.

• The Silent Auction will open for bidding on Saturday, April 20, 2024, beginning at 7:00pm. Table closings will be staggered throughout the night. Closing times will be announced at least 5 minutes prior to the closing of each section.
• Every guest will be given a bid number when s/he checks in. This bid number will be used for the Silent Auction. Each bidder is responsible for the use of their bid number throughout the evening.
• Each item has a bid sheet listing the minimum acceptable bid and mandatory incremental increases. The opening bid must match or exceed the minimum bid noted. All subsequent bids must match or exceed the incremental increase. Bids may be disqualified if the minimum required bid increase is not met.
• To bid, a guest writes his/her bid number on the next available line on the bid sheet. Bid sheets may not be removed from the table for any reason.
• Once a bid is made, it may NOT be withdrawn without the consent of a designated official unless it is superseded by a higher bid.
• The highest bidder announced at closing time will be recognized as the winning bid. In the event of a dispute, the decision of a designated official will be final. Once a section of the Silent Auction has closed, authorized auction volunteers will remove the bid sheets from the table for processing.
• All accounts must be settled in full. All items must be removed the night of the event, unless arrangements have been specifically made with the prize chairperson. It is the responsibility of the winning bidder to arrange for receipt of all services not available on auction night.
