Welcome to Saint Ambrose Summer Camp!
We have so many fun and exciting activities planned for this year!
Summer camp begins on Monday, June 29th, and the doors of the gym will open at 7:15 a.m. Please read all of the important information below for start/end times and policies and procedures. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and support.
All Saint Ambrose School families must be current with their school accounts to attend summer camp.
Method of Payment: All payments must be paid online. Registration is now open and closes on May 31st. The link will reopen on June 1st with a $25 per week increase in price. There is a discount of $25 for any family enrolling more than one child for the same week. The $25 discount will be mailed by check following registration.
Discounted partial weeks for camp or scholarships are not offered.
Hours of Operation: Before care: 7:30 – 9:00 a.m.
Camp: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Aftercare: 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Extended Day: Extended Day (from 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.) is open to all campers. During the extended day program, students may play board games, color, draw, watch age-appropriate movies (during inclement weather) and play outdoors. There will be no extended day on Friday, July 31st. There is a mandatory $1.00 per minute fee, per child, for students remaining past 6:00 p.m. This fee is to be paid in cash when the child is picked up or the next day. Your child may not return to camp until this fee is paid.
Camp Attire: No flip flops, halter tops, crop tops, midriffs, t-shirts with inappropriate slogans, or shorts that are too tight or revealing. Cell phones are required to be kept in the office during camp. Nail polish, jewelry, Mohawks, and/or faddish, trendy haircuts/styles ARE acceptable for summer camp.
Lunch: Lunch is provided on Mondays (3 Brothers Pizza) & Fridays (Chick-Fil-A). Lunch is provided on Mondays and Fridays for the ½ Day HSPT program as well. Lunch has been pre-ordered online and there may be additional items for sale. Slices of pizza - are $2.00 and Chick-Fil-A nuggets or sandwiches are $3.00. Limited quantities are available. Please do not order lunch if you are on trip-a-day, students must provide their own lunches and snacks.
Afternoon Snack Shop: Students should bring a snack to eat during the afternoon extended program. Afternoon snacks (chips, popsicles, cookies, etc.) will also be for sale for a fee ranging from 25 cents to a dollar.
Photographs: We reserve the right to take photographs of your child and use them in our brochures as well as advertisements.
Health Forms: Completed health forms must be turned in prior to the first day of participation for all non-Saint Ambrose School students. The Health Inventory Form is available on the website. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to turn in all health forms. Participants may not attend without completed health forms on-site, no exceptions. In addition, it is imperative that we know if your child has any medical problems. If so, additional information may be needed in order for our child to participate in camp.

Camp T-Shirts: All campers will receive an official Saint Ambrose School Camp shirt and trip-a-day campers will receive 2 t-shirts. The Camp t-shirt must be worn on field trip days and additional shirts may be purchased for a fee. T-shirts have been ordered for all campers. These t-shirts will be distributed on the first day of camp.
Behavior Policy:
1st offense: Time out
2nd offense: Phone call to parent
3rd offense: Parent conference (student, teacher, directory & parent(s)
4th offense: 1-day suspension from program w/o credit of missed day
5th offense: Dismissal w/o refund
Field Trip Policy: All participants must have a signed Field Trip Liability Form on file for each field trip in order to participate in the organized field trips. Field trip forms will be available on Monday for the upcoming week. All campers must wear their summer camp t-shirt on field trips.
